121027 Pt. Arena Run

121028 Pt. Arena Run -- Left home (Pittsburg, CA) at 10:00am . Hwy4W to Hwy680N across the Benicia/Martinez Bridge to Hwy780E to Vallejo for fuel and rest stop. Then we took Hwy80E to Hwy37E to Lakeville Hwy to Hwy101N to Cloverdale for fuel stop and telephone communications. After fueling we ate at Hamburger Ranch http://www.hamburgerranchandbbq.com/ before taking Hwy128 all the way to the Pacific Ocean through the Coast Redwoods. We turned left on Hwy1S to Pt. Arena, where we visited The Zen House motorcycle shop http://www.thezenhouse.net/ We also visited friends Leonard and Nancy before leaving Pt. Arena just after 4:00pm traveling Hwy101S to Gualala for fuel, then further south to Stewarts Point/Skaggs Springs Road to Healdsburg. Then we took Hwy101S to Petaluma, where we stopped for fuel. After fueling we found Traxx Bar & Grill http://www.traxxbarandgrill.com/ where we had clam chowder and drinks while we watched the Giants/Tigers 3rd World Series game. We left at the end of the seventh inning and made it home via same direction by 9:00pm.
